Meet Dr. Estela Goldman, DDS
Being raised in an entrepreneurial family, I developed a respect for a solid work ethic and excellence at an young age. I chose dentistry as a profession because it represented the ultimate combination of medicine and esthetics; both I am very passionate about. It is here that I fulfilled my goal from a young age to become one of Mexico City’s renowned restorative dentists. My belief is that I demonstrate persistence every day and that creates results and progress. While perfection may not be attainable, it is a goal that I aim for in my dental practice.
As a result of my goals and philosophy, my training and skill as a dentist is at the highest level. I have been practicing dentistry since 1992 when I graduated from Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico as the class valedictorian. I received the prestigious Gabino Bareda award for having the highest grade point average in my dental school class. During all four years of dental school, I was among the top three students in grade point average in my class. As a result of my academic achievements in dental school, I was named in “The Best of the Best Students in Mexico.”
After three years of private practice, I returned to dental school and received a specialty degree in prosthodontics and implantology. Upon receiving my degree in prosthodontics, I joined Dr. Antonio Bello, the 2014 American Prosthodontic Society President, in the most prestigious restorative practice in Mexico City. I worked there for seven years, and gained valuable skills before moving to Los Angeles in 2005.
From 2006 to 2008, I was an instructor at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry, where I was recognized by the school for my contributions. In 2008, I was accepted into the University of Southern California School of Dentistry’s Advanced Standing Program for International Dentists. I graduated in 2010 with academic honors, having been on the Dean’s List for every academic quarter. I also received the following clinical honors: USC Prosthodontic Scholar; Hanau Best in the Class in Prosthodontics; Best in the Class in Restorative Dentistry; and Academy of Gold Foil Operators Award.
My philosophy as a dentist requires that I remain on the cutting edge of my profession, and I believe that continuing dental education is critical in order to deliver the best care possible to my patients. Since leaving USC, I have completed many comprehensive continuing education courses including: the Kois Center Program for Restorative Dentistry, which consists of an intensive nine course program. The Kois Center is recognized worldwide as providing the finest training in esthetic, occlusion, and restorative dentistry.
I am also a graduate of the Loma Linda University LLU/AAID Implant MaxiCourse, a ten month, 300 hour course in implant dentistry, and the Progressive Orthodontics Seminar Program. I have also attended many courses given by the OBI Foundation for Bioesthetic Dentistry. When a patient comes to me, they receive a dentist who has the finest academic and clinical qualifications, a dentist who is on the cutting edge of the latest developments and training in restorative dentistry, and a dentist whose goal is to provide the finest dental care to her patients.
