I have to admit its two messages in one.
Southern California Dental Health Associates is committed to giving back to the community. We have not one but two different chairy campaigns gong on right now in our office.
The first one is the Smiles for Life Campaign that is part of the Crown Council, a prestigious alliance of leading-edge dentists from around the world. This is our 4th consecutive year of participating. Anyone, not only our patients, can get whitening at a discounted price. The contribution is 100% tax deductibe because all products and services are donated. 50% of the money raised goes to the national organization and their children’s charities and the other 50% goes to the charity of our choice. We support the Hollywood-Wilshire YMCA’s School Based Programs at your Local Elementary School. This program helps fund physical education and healthy lifestyle education to children. This will help them stay healthier as they progress through life, something I think we can all say is not stressed enough in the childhood years.
What better way to whiten your teeth and to also brighten the day of a child in need.

Our office is also excited about participating in the Run to the Hollywood Sign, a fund raiser for the Hollywood Wilshire YMCA. Why is this one so exciting….well it is the first time anyone can get to the Hollywood sign through Griffith Park and it will take you to the sign, you will never be able to get closer to the sign (at least legally) than this. This is a big first and it took a lot for this event to take place. Our office is a sponsor of the event and we have a team as well.
If you have never been to the Hollywood YMCA you haven’t seen all that it does to support the community with services for all ages. It is not just a place to work out, they have all sorts of programs and the Hollywood YMCA is the only Y in the country that has a live in program for at risk women where they get a second chance to set up their lives. They provide many programs for kids to help them understand healthy living and social responsibility. And they do even more than that.
